सास की प्रताड़ना से परेशान एक विवाहिता ने तीन वर्षीय बच्चे के साथ जहरीली दवाई का सेवन कर लिया। इसके चलते बच्चे की मौत हो गई जबकि महिला को गंभीर हालत में जालंधर के एक निजी अस्पताल में दाखिल करवाया गया है। पुलिस ने आरोपी सास को गिरफ्तार कर अदालत में पेश किया जहां से उसे न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया। मेहटीयाना निवासी रवि कुमार ने थाना बुल्लोवाल पुलिस को बताया कि उसने अपनी बेटी अमनदीप कौर (27) की शादी की करीब चार साल पहले थाना बुल्लोवाल के अधीन गांव मदन लाल के साथ की थी। उसने बताया कि उसकी बेटी की सास गुरदीप कौर कथित तौर पर उसे प्रताड़ित करने लगी। पीड़ित पिता ने पुलिस को बताया कि उसकी बेटी की शादी करवाने वाले व्यक्ति ने उसे फोन पर सूचित किया कि अमनदीप कौर ने अपनी सास की प्रताड़ना से परेशान होकर अपने बेटे सहित जहरीली दवाई का सेवन कर लिया है।
